Bedel, Beddel, n.1 Also: bedell, bedal (badal), beedall; beddell, -ale, -all; beddle, bedle; biddel; bethel, bathell, batthel. [ME. bedel(l, -yll, beddell, bidel, etc., OE. bydel.]
