Busser, Bussar, n. [Variants of burser Bursar.] A bursar. 1625 Edinb. Test. LIII. 58.
They sall manteine & keipe ten busseris in the colledge of Edinburgh 1659 Glasgow B. Rec. II. 413.
The toune being secured in there patronage off the bussers 1687 Stirling Ant. IV. 17.
The busser is payed … from Mertimes 1685 to Mertimes 1686 per his receat 1697 Lanark Presb. 129.
