Crowat, Crowet, n. Also: crouat, crwat, croad; crouet, crowte. [ME. crowet(te, crouette, cruett(e, cruete (c 1290), AF. cruete.]
1. A small bottle or vial for holding liquids, esp. for table use; a cruet. a1400 Leg. S. iii. 60.
