Deprive, Depryve, v. Also: depriwe, deprywe, depryf(f, deprayve. [ME. depryve, deprive (c 1330), OF. depriver, med. L. deprivare.]

1. tr. To deprive, dispossess, bereave (a person) of something. Also rarely const. fra.(1) c1400 Troy-bk. ii. 2149.
