Iconomus, Iconimus, n. Also: -ymus, -emus, -omaws. [Var. of.Yconomus. Cf. Econ-, Œconomus.] The steward or manager of the property and finances of a religious house or a college.(a) 1558 Melrose Reg. Rec. III. 162.
