Inlaik, v. Also: inlaike, -layke. [Usual spelling form of Inlake v. in the 16th century.]

1. intr. To be deficient; to come or run short; to be wanting or missing. Latterly freq. in the constr. to be inlaiking. 1535 Stewart 48742.
