Knaschip, Knaiship, n. Also: knayschip, kneschip, kneacheip, and -ship, -schep. [Var. of Knaveschip With assimilation of -v- as in Greschip n. Most of the examples are north-eastern.] = Knaveschip n. Also attrib. with flowr.(a) 1539 Aberd. B. Rec. I. 161.
