Laureation, -iatio(u)n, n. Also: lawreation; laurriatioun, laurieatio(u)n(e, laurietione; lawriation(e; lauratione; louratione, lourtione. [f. Laureat v.: also in Eng. (1680– ) appar. f. Sc.] Graduation, the act of receiving a degree (in a Scottish University). Also attrib. with day, money.(a) 1619 Fam. Innes 210.
