Libellit, ppl. a. Also: libillit, lybellit, -ed. [P.p. of Libel(l v.: cf. also Libellat.] Drawn up in the form of a libel (Libel(l n. 4), so as to constitute a formal statement of the case against the party cited. 1518 Fife Sheriff Ct. 96.
The poyntis and articlis contenit in ane libillit summondis present & red in jugement 1548 Ex. Processes (Reg. H.) Boyd v. Lyn.
As in the said schereffis libellit precept at mair lenth is contenit 1563 Balfour Pract. 661.
