Liquidat, p.p. and v. Also: -att, -ate. [Cf. late L. liquidātus, p.p. of liquidāre to liquefy, f. liquidus Liquid a. Cf. also e.m.E. liquidat(e v. (1620– ) in other uses.]

1. p.p. Of debts or other due payments: Fixed in advance at a definite sum, specified exactly. b. Of payments in kind, material damages, or services: Judicially or authoritatively assessed; having a monetary equivalent ascertained and prescribed by decree of a court and appointed to be so paid. 1546 Blackfriars Perth 216.
