Lund'ring, vbl. n. [Implying lunder v., common in the mod. dial. (also as lounder, loonder, lunner etc.), ? f. a nasalized form of Louder n.: cf. the mod. dial. lowder, lewder etc. v., to beat, thrash, f. the same noun.] Cuffing, buffeting. —1686 G. Stuart Joco-Ser. Disc. 42.
