Man child(e, n. Also: chyld(e, cheild. Plur. men childer, -dren(e, -dring, -dryng. [ME. and e.m.E. manchilde (1535), plur. man-chylderyn (a 1400), -chylder (c 1430), men-children (1471).] A male child, a son.(a) 1533 Boece vi. vii. 200 b.
