Pleuch-tilth, n. Also: pleucht-, plewcht- and -tylthe. [e.m.E. ploughe-till (1494), plough-tilth (1597–1602).] The amount of land tilled in a year by a standard plough; a ploughland. = Pleuchland n. Also, ? the work, or act, of tilling land. — 1516 Reg. Privy S. I. 432/2.
