Stallang(e, n. Also: -enge, -eing, -ance, -anch, stalange, staulange. [Altered form of Stallag(e after Stallang(e)ar n.] a. = Stallag(e n. a. b. The levy imposed on a stallanger (Stallang(e)ar n.) for the privilege of carrying on his business. Also attrib.a., b. 14.. Acts I 305/2.
