Triply, n. Also: tripley. [L. tripl- third, on the pattern of Duply n., Quadruply n., Quintuply n. Cf. OF triplique.] In a law-suit: A third pleading, a pursuer's reply to a defender's rejoinder or ‘duply’ (Duply n.).For further examples see Duply n., Quadruply n., Quintuply n. and Reply n.1531 10th Rep.
