(Trowing,) Trowyng, Trewyng, vbl. n. [ME and e.m.E. trowing, truing, truyng (all Cursor M.).] To gef trowing to (till) (a person or thing), to believe in, give credence to. —a. ?1438 Alex. i 2468.
