Ȝok(k)it, ppl. adj. Also: ȝokkyt, yok(k)it, yocked. [e.m.E. yokyd (c1485), yoked (1551).]
a. Of an animal: Yoked, coupled by a yoke, attached to a plough, etc. b. Of a plough, cart, etc.: Having an animal or animals attached to it for draught work. Also, dowbill ȝokkyt. c. Ȝokit sadill, a draught-saddle.a. a1500 Henr. Test. Cress. 209.
