Predoneous, adj. (L. prædōnius predatory, f. prædo, prædōn-is, plunderer, robber, an adj. used in the Digest of Roman Law of intromission with or seizure of heritable property without warrant or title.) — 1697 Fountainhall Decis. I 777.
