Quadrat, -ate, v. Also: quadratt-. [e.m.E. quadrate (1610), L. quadrat- p.p. stem of quadrāre to square: cf. Quadrat,p.p. and ppl. adj.]intr. a. To ‘square’, fit, conform, correspond, agree. (Variously const.)(1) 1646 Justiciary Cases III 720.
And as to the actis … thay quadrat not in this caice nather in the propositiones nor assumptiones 1669 Jus Populi 74.
