Quhich(e, adj. and pron. Also: qwhich, qhich(e, quhitch(e; quich(e, qwich(e, quwiche, quitch(e, quisch;; which(e, vhich, wuhich, huyche, whitch(e; wich(e, vich; (wisch). [Early ME wic (a 1200), ME and e.m.E. wich(e (c 1200), wycche (1471), wych (1551), ME hwic (a 1200), hwich (c 1200), hwych (c 1380), ME quich(e (c 1375, Cursor M.), qwich(e (a 1400), ME and e.m.E. which(e (c 1300): cf.
