Reinge, n. [Cf. north. ME rangh (1446–7), raunge a form of fire-grate, f. OF range (cf. Reng(e n.); e.m.E. renge (1506), north. ME reynge (c1362) a sieve or strainer, of obscure origin, but perh. connected with foregoing. Cf. also later and mod.
