Schaply, adj. Also: -lye; schaiplie. [ME shaply (Chaucer), late ME (c1440) and e.m.E. shapely. Cf. OE gesceaplíce adv. = fitly.] Well made; well formed; of good shape. Also quasi-adv. in schaply maid. — c1420 Wynt. iv 219.
