Stupefac(t, Stupifak, adj. Also: stupefak, stupifact. [e.m.E. stupefact (1590), L. stupefactus.] Stupefied, stunned, amazed; silenced; unable to think, speak or act, due to astonishment, grief, timidity, etc. 1501 Doug. Pal. Hon. 1460.
