ASSIDAT, v. To let or lease. The form in quot. is the truncated Sc. pa.p.Ayr. 1749 Arch. and Hist. Coll. Ayr and Wgt. (1880) II. 141:
Three hundred pounds of money foresaid is ordained to be given to the minister of Tarboltoun in place of six chalders of victuall called assidat teind.
