1. Impetuous, hasty in action, quick to do a thing.Ags. 1894 Arbroath Guide (10 Mar.) 3/7:
Humph! ye're no aye sae bangie, an' gin I'd bidden ye dae't, there would hae been something else to be dune afore't.

2. Quarrelsome, huffy, irritable.Sc. 1888 C. Mackay Dict. of Lowland Sc.:
