BLIKKEN, v. [blɪkŋ, ′blɪkən]

1. To turn pale.Sh. 1908 Jak. (1928):
He blikkened wi', he turned pale (on account of something).

2. To blight, fade.Sh. 1914 Angus Gl.:
Da taaties is blikkened wi da frost.
