BLOTCH, v. As in St.Eng., except in the senses: (1) “to blot, i.e. stain with ink, etc.” (Bnff.2, Abd.22, Kcb.9 1935). N.E.D. says this sense is “common in Scotl. and north of Eng.”; (2) to blot (out), delete. Known to Abd.22, Kcb.9 1935.(1) Rxb. 1923 Watson W.-B.:
