Thae . . . critics get up wi' sic lang-nebbit gallehooings, an' youfat bravooras.
Ayr. 1825 Jam.2:
Bravoora, such a degree of irritation or fury, in man or beast, as to assume the appearance of madness. It is said of a brute animal, when ferocious, "He's in his bravooras."
