BROMEK, BROMIK, n. [′bromək]
1. “A big, stout person, esp. a woman” (Sh. 1908 Jak. (1928), bromek; 1914 Angus Gl., brōmik).
2. “A fat ewe” (Sh. 1908 Jak. (1928)); “a strong well-fed animal” (Sh. 1914 Angus Gl.).
