BUDDACK, Bodek, n. “A thick shoe, a brogue” (Sh. 1866 Edm. Gl., buddack); “an old, worn-out boot, esp. foot of a boot (cut off from the leg); also slipper with wooden sole” (Sh. 1908 Jak. (1928) s.v. bodek).
