CAPOOSKER, v. To damage or injure beyond repair. Arg.1 says: rare.Arg.1 1929:
Ah doot ah've capooskerd it this time.

[Cf. Ger. and Dan. kaput, Sw. kaputt, Du. kapot, spoilt, broken, damaged. Lat. caput, head, fore part of a ship, gives Fr. capoter, to overturn (of a ship), later used as gambling term faire capot, to lose one's all, taken over into Ger. and used by soldiers in Thirty Years' War in phr. capot machen, a grim jest to indicate “slay.”]
