CO', Ko, v., pa.t. Quoth, said. Most common in Ork., but known in many other districts of Scotland. Bnff.2, Abd.19, Fif.10 1936 give it as still known, but Watson in Rxb. W.-B. (1923) gives it as obsol. Angus Gl. (1914) gives ko for Shet. [ko]Ork. 1915 J. T. S. Leask in Old-Lore Misc., Ork., Sh., etc. VIII. i. 42:
