CODRACH, Codrugh, adj. Susceptible to cold (Ags. (Strathmore) 1825 Jam.2, codrugh). [′kɔdrəx]Abd.6 1870:
When one hung over the fire, or wore a lot of clothes, one was said to be “codrach.”

[Cf. Codrife, below, the change of f to ch perhaps being due to analogy with laugh [lɑf] and Lauch [lɑx], enough and Eneuch. The Gael. suff. -ach may, however, have had some influence.]
