CONCURSE, n. Sc. law: “legal concurrence, esp. of an officer whose consent is necessary to a legal process” (N.E.D.); gen. in phr. with concurse of.Bnff. 1715 Council Mins. in W. Cramond Annals of Banff (1891) I. 186:
For takeing away the bad customs of armed chairs, ordanis with concurse of the magistrates and elders all persons, possessors of the said armed chairs, to remove the samin forth of the church.
Abd. 1734 in Huntly Express (1936) 29 May:
