CRACKETT, n. A low wooden stool. Also used attrib.Ayr. 1887 J. Service Dr Duguid 156:
And they put me to sic needless fasherie too, with their crackett stools and their singed rags.

Round aboot them on sma'er kind o' cracketts, [lay] a wheen wee black boxes with their weans.
