DOUGAL PAUL, Dugal -, Dougie -, n. comb. A name given to the sea scorpion or father lasher, Taurulus bubalis: “boys catch the fish and put a cork either in the mouth or on one of the spines of the head, then throw it into the water and watch its vain attempts to submerge itself” (Arg.1 1929; Arg. 1990s).
