I. n. The act of fluttering (Slk. 1825 Jam.).

II. v. To flutter, to move about restlessly; to tremble, to shake (Sc. 1710 T. Ruddiman Gl. to Douglas Aeneis, flekker).Sc.(E) 1868 D. M. Ogilvy Willie Wabster 17:
