The peculiar tidal trout, or so-called “fossak” of the Inver and other rivers.

[Prob. from Forss, the name of a Cai. river (Norw. dial. foss, fors, a waterfall, a whirlpool, a swift-descending stream) + -ak, -ag. Cai. dim. suffix.]
