FROG, n.3 Sc. comb.: (1)frog's mou(th), (i) the wild snapdragon Antirrhinum majus (Sc. 1754 J. Justice Sc. Gardiner 328; Sh.11 1953). Also in Eng. dial.; (ii) the monkey flower or mimulus (sw.Sc. 1896 Garden-Work XIII. 112; Fif., Peb., Gall., Dmf. 1953). (2) froglowper, a contemptuous name for a Frenchman, as jumping about like a frog. (2)Ayr. 1833 J. Kennedy Geordie Chalmers 45:
