FUNKO, n. In phr. as fest as funko, as quickly as possible, with all speed, like lightning (Ork. 1929 Marw.). [′fʌŋko]Ork. 1880 Dennison Sketch-Bk. 58:
Oot ran baith the lads . . . and doon tae the net as fest as funko.
