GILP, n. Also gulp. [gɪlp, gʌlp]

1. “A big, unwieldy child” (Ags. 1808 Jam., gulp); “a big, fat person; mostly applied to infants, to boys and girls” (Bnff. 1866 Gregor D. Bnff. 62).

2. “A big animal; commonly applied to young animals” (Ib.).
