GURNING-BONE, n.comb. ?Sth. 1831 in British Husbandry III. 80:
Ill-bred lambs, marked by a tendency to short, stubby faces, broad bumpy wiry brows, flat ribs, sharp shoulder-top, round gurning-bones, and twisted legs.
