†HOONSKA, n. Also †hu(m)ska, hun(g)ska (Jak.). A kind of black pudding made of ox-blood and oatmeal (Sh. 1866 Edm. Gl., 1908 Jak. (1928), hun(g)ska). A mixture of ox-blood, cabbage and oatmeal boiled together (Sh. 1908 Jak. (1928), hu(m)ska).
