I. v. To heave up (a heavy object), to throw or toss up (Rxb. 1923 Watson W.-B.; Sh., Bwk., Rxb. 1957). Also in n.Eng. dial.s.Sc. 1937 Border Mag. (April) 53:

II. n. A heave, the act of heaving (Sh., Cai., Kcb., Rxb. 1957).Rxb. 1923 Watson W.-B.:
