HUDDY-DROCH, n. Also huddiedrocht. A term of abuse applied to a short squat person with a waddling gait (Cld. 1825 Jam.).Abd. 1882 W. Forsyth Writings 24:
They little thought ye was their chief; Ye foul ramshachle huddiedrocht.
