JIRGLE-MA-JORGAL, adj.phr. Jumbled together, completely disarranged.Kcb.2 a.1930:
Used by an old village watch-maker, long since dead, to describe the condition of a watch that had been allowed to fall on a hard surface: “it's all jirgle-ma-jorgal”. Also used by an old postman aged 65 in recent years.
