KIRSHAN-CRAB, n.comb. Also kirssan-. A salt-water crab (Cai. c.1920).Cai. 1902 E.D.D.:
Kirssan-crab. Fairly common here, in deep water. I have not seen any over 3 inches in length. The colour is almost black. The claws are all very thin and broad; and they have a close set of spines along their edges, like short stout hairs.
