KLIBBA-TAINGS, n.pl. Also klibbitengs, klipitaings, -tengs. A pair of tongs made from two pieces of wood, or a piece of bent iron (Sh. 1866 Edm. Gl., 1908 Jak. (1928)). [′klɪbətɛŋs, ′klɪpə-]Sh. 1937 J. Nicolson Restin' Chair Yarns 15:
He had brought a fowl with him which he proceeded to roast, using the klibbi-tengs . . . as a gridiron.
