LAIGHT, n. A lath, strip of wood.Ork. 1911 Old-Lore Misc. IV. i. 23:
About three and a half feet above the aisens a lath or laight was nailed upon the cupples on either side of the roof, and a similar laight was fastened to the cupples on each side of the ridge.
