LURK, n. Also dim. or deriv. lurky (Ork.). A big, clumsy person or thing (Sh. 1908 Jak. (1928), Sh. 1961). Dim. or deriv. lurky, a big horn spoon, a dinghy (Ork. 1929 Marw.).Jak.:
A lurk o' a boat, a large, clumsy boat, damaged by ordinary use.
